I do not accept or bill medical insurance. However, I will prepare the documents for you to submit a claim for yourself and I am available should your insurance carrier need to speak to me to verify information. It is sometimes a bit of a process and may require a phone call or trip to your doctor to get a prescription for massage therapy (a form a medical necessity). I have found for some clients it is worth the initial effort to get approvals.
I congratulate both of us for successfully dropping into your parasympathetic nervous system; a state of deep relaxation where ultimate healing begins. It is completely normal! This is a safe, no judgement zone and you are encouraged to let go. However, if you cannot bear to let it all go, I will kindly step out or you may excuse yourself to the restroom.
Yes, please! This is your massage, not mine. We need to work together as a team to give your body what it needs and I can only do that if you communicate openly when you're feeling a need for a change in pressure, temperature, music, etc. All of these things are easy and fast fixes to ensure you get what you need out of your session. If I don't hear from you, I just keep doing what I'm doing.
